That's it really.

I've just got back from my 19/20 week scan & am desperate to tell someone in RL but DH & I have sworn we wouldn't, so I'm telling on here instead!!

We already have a 3.6yr old DD & we decided not to find out what we were having with her, but this time I'm sooooo much more impatient.

Am so excited Grin Grin

Congratulations!! How are you going to keep it a secret? Thats one of the reasons we haven't found out - we are both blabbermouths!!

emw1 · 28/09/2010 13:26

Congratulations!!!! Fantastic news!

Guess what ... me too, me too!!!! Just had my scan yesterday & found out we've got a boy on the way (our first baba so very excited either way!)

Woo hoo! xxx

HavingAnOffDAy · 28/09/2010 13:28

Oooh, great news emw1 - what's your due date? Mine's 19th Feb.

Goodlife we're not going to tell anyone we found out so hopefully we won't get too any questions. And our families both live a fair bit away so we don't see that much of them to get a grilling.

We did exactly the same this time. We found out at the 20 week scan and have kept it a secret between DH and myself. I'm 34wks now and it's been lovely having a little secret that is just ours :)

Congratulations! Little boys are wonderful (I've got 3 so I'm biased)I'm expecting a girl this time so whole new territory for me too :)

AbiAbi · 28/09/2010 13:32

Congratulations! I am currently 32+2 with a boy and couldnt be happier Smile

HavingAnOffDAy · 28/09/2010 13:32

3plus - that's ace. Having a girl is also fab (again I'm biased!) & I'm a little nervous about the whole boy thing.

His big sister wants a baby sister so we'll have to start mentioning great things about boys to her!!

Grin My boys have all decided between themselves that this baby is a boy so I'm having to do the same in reverse!!

Lovemylulu · 28/09/2010 14:42

me too!! Have a little girl that is nearly 3 and just found out this morning we are expecting a boy in March. Congratulations! We didn't find out first time around either but just couldn't wait this time. Soooooo excited and really really happy! Grin

HavingAnOffDAy · 28/09/2010 14:44

Great isn't it?

I keep looking at the scan pic & grinning like an idiot

We seriously need to pull our fingers out with names though - we're rubbish & can't agree on any boys names

miamix · 28/09/2010 15:03

Me too! Congrats!

1Catherine1 · 28/09/2010 15:19

Congrats!!!! Celebration time!!

Time to crack open the fizzy water! :)

May I suggest the names forum? Picking a name is such fun when you find one you agree on.

ILoveGregoryHouse · 28/09/2010 15:24

3plusbump I'm expecting dd in 4 weeks after 3 lovely sons. I've gone a bit mad on the clothes buying though Wink.

Congratulations to everyone. I love knowing!

LJ2011 · 28/09/2010 15:24

Congratulations!!!

I've found out I'm having a boy too today!

My husband has two children from his previous marriage and they are both girls. He's so excited and so am I.

It's a nice feeling to have little one on the way either boy or girl. I would have been happy with a little girl too.

Poledra · 28/09/2010 15:26

Congratulations!

Can I suggest this book for your DD? Wink

Mahraih · 28/09/2010 15:52

Congratulations!!

We found out it's a boy too. Lots of boys on here!

emmyloo2 · 28/09/2010 16:29

Congratulations! I am having a boy, due in 6 weeks. Was very excited to find out it was a boy but this is our first so would be delighted either way. But so glad I know it's a boy because I can now think of him as a "he"!!

kittycatcat · 28/09/2010 16:36

Awh congratulations :)

nameymcnamechange · 28/09/2010 16:40

Congratulations!!! It is absolutely yummy having a girl then a boy (check out my profile pic Smile).

Disclaimer: it is also absolutely fabulous to have boys first then girls, all boys or all girls Grin.

3plusbump · 28/09/2010 16:52

What a lovely thread :)

ILoveGregoryHouse Yes, gone a bit mad with clothes shopping here too Blush and it's all hidden as we have not told anyone that we are having a girl!!

emmab5 · 28/09/2010 18:38

Congratulations :) we're expecting a boy in 6 weeks. We haven't told anyone in RL so i'm secret clothes shopping too!

Already have DD, DS and DSS, they are having great fun guessing the sex of the baby - only problem is DD really wants a sister -oops :o

Lovemylulu · 29/09/2010 09:24

I couldn't resist buying a blue babygro yesterday even though I am only 16 weeks! We have suitcases full of pink clothes - my friend that has just had a girl will be getting a wardrobe full of pink stuff from me Grin

Starberries · 29/09/2010 10:39

We're also having a boy - found out at 14+3 as we were way too impatient to wait until 20 week scan. Had it confirmed btw, at 20 week scan and again last Friday (23wks) Grin

He actually Blush has clothes until he's 6 months old, and has about half his wardrobe from 6-12 months. I've been going absolutely mad. I'm sure he'll only wear things once, but it's so much fun the ickle things Grin
