Will my bottom grow any more?

OK, 22 weeks, have just bought myself some maternity trousers. They fit fine now, very comfy etc, and I'm tempted to buy another pair.

So far, my bottom and legs have stayed the same - no fat spreadage at all.
At this stage, is my bottom likely to go through a growth spurt, or can I safely buy more trousers and assume they'll fit still in a few weeks time?

Over to you!

I was so proud of my bottom and legs until about 32 weeks when whooosh, they suddenly seemed to belong to someone else. I've been walking a minimum of three miles every day and swimming regularly but still there's been nothing I can do to keep my thighs in check! Am now two weeks overdue and very much hoping they'll return to normal soon after the birth! Hope you'll be able to avoid the growth spurt, obviously everyone's different so there's definitely hope!

I'm 34+ weeks with DC4 and I'm still wearing my normal jeans (low waisted so sit under my bump) so no 'bottom spreading' here!

Like Slippers said though, everyone's different and every pregnancy is different. With Dc1 I went from a size 12 to a size 16 maternity...

That doesn't help you much with your trouser buying though does it?? Confused

Even if I just get ten weeks worth, I suupose it'll be better than wearing pj's all the time :o

I'd buy another pair - you're unlikely to go up sizes much in the next 10 weeks as long as your weight gain is under control and that gives you quite a lot of wear even if you do go up towards the end.

Personally I've lost weight on my bum and legs since getting pregnant and I've been eating so much! Now 29 weeks.
