I'm 35+3 and have called the assesment unit this morning as i woke up with slightly wet pj bottoms.
Over the last day or so i have found that i have had damp pants Blush and don't know if its just a weak bladder or leaking waters.

The assesment unit have told me to put a pad on and call them back around 11 am and take it from there. If it is my waters what are hey likely to do?
I am booked in for section on 22nd oct.

When my waters broke at 33+5 (it was definitely my waters breaking, not wee!) they told me to go in, gave me a scan (to find out how much water was left, which was apparently "enough") and did some tests to see if I had an infection. They told me that sometimes your waters break, but you can still carry to full term (with dripping!) .They kept me in for 24hrs as if I was going to give birth early it would be in then.
So I spent a very dull day in hospital, but contractions started the next morning & I gave birth to DD at lunchtime!

Try not to worry! If you are concerned then I would push to be seen just so they can put your mind at rest.

My waters went at a similar time, maybe a week later. They called me in to the hospital, confirmed it was my waters (not bladder), and then kept me in on bedrest until he was born (5 days later).

They gave me steroid injections to mature his lungs.

This was 11 years ago in the North West so it may be different now.

Good luck Smile
