Hello

As i've been having weird things like heartburn (classic pregnancy symptom for me) and taking milk in my coffee and i think i'm late (but dp doesn't), we bought a test.
I did it yesterday and it was negative, it should be really due to lack of sex and precautions when we do.
Anyway, it's still sitting there and today there's a faint faint line, what does this mean?
It says not to take notice after 10 minutes so do the results change anyway?

yes, you can get an evaporation line. so do disregard it!
if you;re still worried do another one in a day or 2

evaporation line Angeliz .. don't worry about it .. if you're still worried do another test in 3 days

Hi Angeliz - usually any line, however faint, is a positive but as it has been out for 24 hours I would do another one.
Use the digital one if you can get it. Has a little screen that states 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' so no worrying about line interpretation! Good luck

thanks ladies.
If i'm still not on in a few days i'll do another one.

The only problem with the digital ones is that you still get a 'not pregnant' if your urine is too dilute, when testing early on. I got a positive on one last year, then a negative when I took one again later on (because my husband wanted a shuftie).

After 24 hours, I'd say a line is caused by evaporation.
