when did you start to show you are / were pregnant?

I'm between 14 & 15 weeks & look about 6 months already!! I'm normally a 12 & worry how huge I'm going to be! I feel constantly baloated, but just wondered how big you lovely ladies are / were at this stage?

7 weeks. Honest. I had a washboard stomach and suddenly it was obvious. Colleagues started to notice. Was in maternity clothes at 12 weeks.

It slowed right down after 20 weeks though.

I started to show at 5 months - straight after Christmas dinner!! I think it depends on how strong your stomach muscles are, where you naturally carry your weight, if you're prone to trapped wind or water retention, lots of things...

I'm just 12 weeks and am convinced everyone can tell. Though then I think I've just gotten fatter. I thought the whole stomach area would be taut and round, but I seem to have developed a big old flabby spare tyre. Sigh. I reckon I've put on about 5 pounds - seems and feels like loads and loads.

Argh, just 11 weeks, I meant to say.

About 12/13 weeks it was begingin to become obvious.

to most people - around 16 weeks

to travellers on first great western trains - about 36 weeks

I'm 15 weeks and a size 10 - put on about 6lbs so far and family and friends can tell as tummy is popping out a little. Strangers wouldn't know though.

At about 17 weeks I started to show, then in the next 4 weeks I grew huge but don't seem to have grown much bigger between 20 and 30 so far... although the ultrasounds show he is growing slightly faster than average. Not sure where he's hiding...

7 1/2 mth before I started showing. Due tomorrow and am like a whale. No wonder I got stretchmarks when you think what little time my belly has had to expand haha

I'm already showing at 10 weeks and it's becoming very difficult to find clothes for work where nobody knows. This is my 2nd pregnancy though - I was still in my size 10 jeans at 5 months last time. Have to agree with Bella; my stomach muscles are shot!

For me it's really hard to say exactly when I started showing. Different people saw the bump at different times and it so depends on the clothes you're wearing. With DS I was showing between 18-20 weeks. This pregnancy it was more like 14-15 weeks, but friends noticed my stomach expanding from about 6 weeks. They did know that I was pregnant.

1st pregnancy, started to show as soon as i found out i was small a size 6, seemed huge at 1st then when i was 42 weeks i looked tiny, just like id ate a a large meal.
this time im 11 weeks and havent started showing yet, im still small still a size 6, just dont get it

1st pregnancy showed about 6 months was size 12. Had very neat bump all the way through. This pg im 9+4, still size 12, and got my maternity jeans out yesterday and am currently wearing them :o Oh the relief. My shape now is prob the shap i was about 17 weeks last time. Great!

I'm 23 weeks and had my first stranger comment on me being pregnant last week! Was very excited as confirmed that I no longer just look fat

People who knew could tell much earlier - maybe around 15 weeks-ish.

1st pregnancy, I looked obviously pregnant and in maternity clothes at 13 weeks. I'm short and slim though so there nowhere else for baby to go but out. I did lose a lot of weight with hyperemesis, which made bump stick out even more.

I'm only 6 weeks this time around and am fast losing weight and have what looks to be a bump already, will be in maternity clothes in next 3 weeks probably. My stomach muscles are shot to pieces though, dd was a big baby.

Im on baby 2 and this pregnancy it was about 7 weeks, im now 13 and look at least 16.

I'm 13 weeks and started showing at about 9. I now look about five months I reckon.

I've always put weight on my middle first but my DP has been with me for 10 years and has seen me fluctuate through sizes 10-18 (I was a 14 pre-PG) and says it definitely looks different to when I've put weight on in the past.

People on the tube have been offering me seats for about two weeks.

I started filling out at around 14-16 weeks, now at 22 weeks I look like a whale. I think my stomach muscles are shot to pieces. This is my 2nd pregnancy.

DD1 about 13 weeks, DD2 pregnancy about 10 weeks, this pregnancy about 8 weeks - not good feel huge already and just hitting 10 weeks.

So glad to see this thread! Very reassuring, although must admit to being a little envious of you lucky ladies who didn't show at all!
I showed at about 20 weeks with DD but then I was very fit, this one I could've sworn I showed as soon as the test was positive!
Am trying to hide bump with big cardis at work until after 20 week scan, so hopefully won't grow too much more!

I'm 8 weeks and trousers are already too tight. Am wearing the next size up, but they are useless and fall down am sure I'll be in mat clothes soon. This is my 4th so I guess there's no hope of hiding it for long! Wore a dress to an evening event at work last week and saw two women look at me and do a double take.

with my first pregnancy I just about managed to stay in my usual clothes until 12wks.

this time round everything (boobs & belly) seemed to pop out at around 10wks - I've got a couple of weeks off work & am getting worried about squeezing into my usual work trousers when I go back next week
