at the prospect of labour? 36 weeks today, hoping for a VBAC, but can cry on command if I think too much about going into labour. I know I am hormonal and I AM excited about getting my new baby, but am still dreading it.

Hi there.

Yes, I am 37 weeks on Monday and I have been more emotional in the last week or so than anytime throughout my pregnancy!

I think it's because I've finished work and I know I'm nearly there but not quite, so everything is becoming more intense, real and scary but not quite happening for you be able to deal with it.

I'm telling myself it's all hormonal and want to look back at this bit and think I made the most of all the preparation time in a positive and happy way.

Just think, you'll soon have a mini me to coo over
