6wks and no symptoms

Hi
Am 6 weeks (tomorrow) and have absolutely no pregnancy symptoms. I have been to the Dr and mentioned it and she said not to worry. I have done umpteen pregnancy tests - all positive - but it is really beginning to upset me. I have a 19mth old (and two early miscarriages before him) and was quite nauseous etc with those three pregnancies. Anyone else symptom free? (And by the way I know that anyone with hyperemesis will hate me, but please bear with me).

Hang in there, and you might want to read the other thread today about people giving birth who didn't even know they were pregnant! I've had a ton of symptoms, but work with a girl who's six months pg and hasn't experienced a thing. I think all pregnancies are just very different.

Good luck.

Hiya, I had major symptoms in my previous pregnancy but miscarried. This time round with my new pregnancy (3 months after m/c) I have no symptoms at all.

Each pregnancy is different, I have learned that very quickly! So I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy it while it lasts as it could change in weeks 7/8!

Hi,

I didn't have any symptoms until I was 8wks pg. Don't worry, it's still very early!

Besides, you might be really lucky like me & still have 'all day' sickness at 19wks Grin

congratulations!

Thanks so much for the responses, I feel so much better already. I think it is the previous m/c which means that I am super cautious (I can't even bring myself to join the May 2011 antenatal club but I am lurking like mad). xx

pureequeen, i am totally with you. i am 7.5 weeks pregnant and have no symptoms... i am going to have an early pregnancy scan done to make sure everything is ok... i read in a pregnancy book that the symptoms might come later. i haven't joined the club either. cheer up!

I think I was very near to 7 weeks first time round before I had any symptoms. Drove me insane! I very soon regretted it though :) Hang in there, its still quite early.

lucielooo · 24/09/2010 15:48

I'm 12 weeks and have hardly any symptoms, only been sick once (and that was on the way to a scan at 9 weeks so a combination of downing 2 pints of water and a pregnacare on an empty stomach and nerves)

Have probably had no more than 5 days in total of feeling really nauseous and it's driven me mad with worry. No changes in boobs, not any bigger/sorer/darker nipples, etc occasionally they feel more sensitive and that's it.

Had my 12 week scan today and all fine, so it really doesn't necessarily mean anything bad :) Am so pleased to be able to say this after I have scoured so many 'I have no symptoms threads' looking for reassurance :)

And six weeks is still early.. so plenty of time for it all to kick in!

I was symptom free, only afterward did I realise quite how little dd moved or what pregnancy could have been like (I was blissfully clueless). Other than a growing bump (and other areas and later an inability to sleep etc.) nothing much changed. The most I had to write home about was a swollen ankle one afternoon.

DD was perfectly fine when born, so I hope you have an 'easy' pregnancy like me.

Congratulations.

Have just scoffed a big piece of banana cake with thick cream cheese icing. Wow - do I feel ill or what Grin . No more complaining, promise. Have also booked an early scan for 7 weeks (our local NHS hospital does private scans on a Saturday morning).

I had no symptoms till around week 10-11 then felt sick/tired and everything smelt and tasted strange.

pureequeen · 24/09/2010 16:12

oh, and congrats on your scan today Lucieloo, that's great news.

around conception I felt 'different', but had no real pg symptoms until around 9 weeks - then they came with avengeance! I was worried too during that time as with my previous two pregnancies, I was sick from the moment I found out!
