Just wanted to share my DISSATISFACTION with Vertbaudet! I placed an order on the 13th September and still havent heard from them about time scales for delivery. When I try to call them it's always sooo busy. Ive just tried but after 45 minutes of waiting I gave up! Is it only me or anyone else has experineced bad service from them?

If I remember correctly they aren't rushers when it comes to posting, I am sure their time frame is 7-10 working days for delivery.
But I haven't ordered from them in a long time so might be different now (doesn't sound like it is though).

I had real problems with themonce when I ordered some maternity clothes with DS1 (over 5 years ago) - a cheque they said I hadn't said which I had. Was endless hassle, and although sorted out eventually it really put me off, so not used them since. V poor service all round. Grrr.

Thanks Nunnie. Ill give them another 2 days and then Ill try to contact them. I find weird that they dont even send an email confirming my order or anything. I have an online account through which I can track my order but it only states how much my order is. Im not impressed...

If doesn't arrive on monday then ring them on tuesday as it does state in their terms and conditions they will contact you if there is going to be a delay later than 10 working days. Don't know who they send it with can't remember sorry, but yes I find 10 working days a long time to wait with no contact, or decent tracking so you know the order has been cleared or even recieved.

IIt's odd they haven't confirmed your order they normally do. You should be able to track your order online. I have used them for about15 years with no problems, but I hate the phone line and do everything online

Thank you for the advice guys. Ill ring them on Monday. When I made the purchase online it said that a problem had occurred which unabled them to send a confirmation email. The message on their phone line says that due to the launch of a new TV advert they are experiencing huge demands.GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I am having similar problems with La Redoute.

I placed my first order with them over the August bank holiday weekend for some maternity clothes. I emailed them last week to chase the order. They finally responded after six days to say that it wasn't processed due to a system error and could I resubmit my order. When I ordered originally I had a code so that I got my order for half price but this is no longer valid. Have emailed them back telling them I still want the items but at the price I originally ordered them. I am not happy!

Vertbaudet customer service is so rubbish!
BUT IME the stuff is just so worth it when it arrives. Good luck!

Never buy from them if you're in a hurry. Waited 2 weeks for a toybox which finally arrived today - one piece was covered with dried blood and the front bit was bashed & split. My desire to complain about the lack of quality control is tempered a bit by the guilty realisation that this stuff is presumably made in China by workers paid very little & under serious pressure....

Bizarrely I was just thinking about the Vertbaudet order I popped in the post last week. Thinking now I should have done the phone thing - knowing my luck the maternity dress i ordered will appear after DD arrives in December lol!

I had problems with Blooming Marvelous - ordered a load of clothes quite early on in pregnancy including a dress (in the perfect colour to match my hat)for a wedding. I received an automated confirmation, a week later - no items and no money taken from my bank account.

I e-mailed them - no record of my order, sent them a copy of my confirmation and a week later, oops sorry a glitch in our system and the order didn't go through please re-submit and you can have free postage. Everything I had wanted was gone in my size. I was so angry I didn't order anything.

I see now that they have been bought by Mothercare, probably a good ting because they couldn't run their own business!

smoggii I had exactly the same thing happen with Blooming Marvelous - really really annoying as by the time they replied to say the hadn't any record of my order the website had closed down. Grrr..

I ordered from them last month and got an email saying they had received my order. Waited and waited and nothing. Emailed again, and they said they had no record of my order!

Even though what I had ordered was clearly visible on the 'My Orders' bit of my website.

They said to send my order through again.

I sent an email back complaining and asking if they though this was good customer service, and never heard back from them.

They have disgusting customer service. I shall never try and order from them again. That was my first attempt, never to be repeated. The order tracking is no guarantee it will actually arrive.

I ordered some cot sheets from them on 17th and nothing yet....have heard many a time though that you should order things well in advance as they are so slow. I still went ahead though because the sheets are so reasonably priced, and much prettier than the usual stuff you get. I also had a £10 discount code, free delivery and a free gift.....

Im getting worried with all these posts reporting negative experiences with Vertbaudet. I bet that when I call them on Monday they are going to say: no record of my order!

most likely - and it will be the exact same experience as me. God knows what is wrong with them. It is appalling. I got no apology - absolutely nothing. Half tempted to write to the managing director.

I hate Vertbaudet, whenever I've ordered from them I've used a discount code and every single time they balls up the invoice, don't give me the 10% off/free delivery/whatever and hassled me for months.

I'm now finally off their mailing list.

I don't know if they still do this, but isn't there something on a letter from from them saying 'we're Mum's too, so have patience if something's delayed.. or similar'

Vertbaudet are pretty slow at sending out and will send out in dribs and drabs too. At least you don't pay until they dispatch though.
You should have got an email though, I think I'd be wary too.

Rubbish customer service. And terrible for letting you place an order for items supposedly in stock then saying the items are not available (so you end up paying delivery charge for potentially just one item) and then, no, you can't amend or cancel the order.

Mind you, they're not alone - just the rudest. Trying to garner marketing data from me (age & sex of DCs) when they've just point blank refused to cooperate on all fronts and created a clearly dissatisfied customer. FFS.

Well, My Vertbaudet order turned up, well half of it did, i ordered the special offer 24 hr bag as well as a dress and i got a free bib and hat.
The bag isn't there, i haven't been charged for it the form said it was of limited availability at the price but the same bag full price is still available on its website so i wonder if they ever sold any at the special price - complete con to get you to order i guess.
The quality of the dress is absolutely rubbish so that and the free gift will have to go back too. I won't be ordering from there again.
