Please come and give me hope that the baby could arrive soon..!

I am 39+3 today and, although I know I shouldn't be getting impatient yet, I am! VERY!

I was utterly convinced that this baby was going to be early (all the women in my family have always given birth early or on time), but no sign yet...

Is there any point me hoping that the baby will be here soon? I have had absolutely NO indications of ANYTHING happening at all: no braxton hicks at all, no "pressing down feeling" (although apparently the head is 2/5s palpable, 3/5s engaged), the baby is still moving and kicking like mad, no loose stools etc and no show...

does anyone have any encouraging stories of going from nothing to something very fast???? Please tell me it could come tomorrow or something!

I know, just clutching at straws really. But I finished work nearly three weeks ago and have now done all my nesting and jobs round the house. I am bored!

I went into labour suddenly though. Was sitting on the sofa eating dinner and my waters popped, first contraction minutes later. No signs at all.

Legallyblond same here! Baby is due on the 29th and I was SO convinced that he would come early. Obviously he isnt:( I dont have any signs whatsoever apart from some braxton hicks, which I think are the result of taking raspberry leaf tablets. Lets hold hands until our LO decide to make an appearance. I really dont want to be induced!!

Thanks Lia - I really don't want to be induced either. Come on babies!!!
