Manuka Honey (expensive £5 + but so worth it)

on a spoon a couple of hours a day.

then keep in the cupboard for next time

I bought some glycerin, honey and lemon mixture from the chemist a few weeks ago when i had this, it did soothe it a bit and stopped me coughing as much.
Also found that being propped up when in bed helped as well Smile

Boots glycerin cough medicine as above - blackcurrent or honey and lemon. I get a dry throat/tickly cough at night for some reason and keep this by the bed. Works fine.

I agree with Furball, although use any runny honey we have in the cupboard. Also, hot drinks (not milky) like peppermint tea or a fruit tea - maybe even with a spoonful of honey stirred in if you like them sweetened. I have had a really snotty (sorry if TMI) nose during this (and my other 2) pregnancies which tends to drip down the back of my throat at night and make me really phlegmy - lovely! I find that any form of dairy really aggravates it, and a hot peppermint tea before bed really helps.
