Woke up during the night with niggly pains and by 6am seemed to be having regular contraction every seven minutes lasting about 1 minute. By 12 pm they had stopped and started again about 2 pm but more painful this time. Now they have stopped again! What is going on and am I actually in labour or not. Had the show several days ago and have had diarrhoea today.
Help....i'm getting impatient!!! :D

i'd phone the midwife and ask. I am sure its probably normal and just your body getting ready. Good luck.

Have a big snog with your DH, it can often get things going again.Smile also good is a bit of nipple fondling.

This is from Ina May Gaskin's book Guide to Childbirth and it worked for me.

best wishes xxxx

I had this last time round - contractions during the sunday night. They stopped around 9am on the Monday morning. Had a sweep that day (it was already booked in) and went into proper labour that night. I am sure it won't be long for you.
