Baby care sales on now but also in Jan?

Hi, we are expecting our first in feb and noticed there are a lot of sales on now for cots etc. Will there also be sales in January and if so are they normally better?

I was wondering this too. I'm due at the end of Jan and was thinking about going to the Baby Show in October but didn't want to buy things and then find that there are really good deals after Christmas.

i would just mention that VAT is increasing to 20% in January so any big purchases you might want to make beforehand to save yourself a few pennies...

Haven't a clue, there will be sales in Jan but not sure if they will be cheaper or not, and with the VAT increase it's hard to predict.
If you have seen something you fancy and you think it might be a bargain now, then I would grab it myself. But I am impatient.

Unless of course, you can brave the boxing day+ sales then it might be worth waiting

I'm hoping that the shops will have very good sales between Boxing Day & New Year in anticipation of the VAT rise. Also, if the high street has a poor run up to Christmas as it has for the last couple of years sales may start mid-December...? Here's hoping- I'm not due until the end of Feb but also quite impatient!
