Just been browsing pushchairs and wondered if you've seen these?!

What do you think? Do you think I'd get laughed out of the playground?!

Anyone know of any more??

Blimey ! It's a bit like a wheelbarrow maybe thats where the idea came from !

marthamoo · 05/09/2005 19:31

I think they forgot a couple of the wheels

hoxtonchick · 05/09/2005 19:31

you need bran, she's bought one & doesn't like it...

rodeo1 · 05/09/2005 19:32

It is like a wheel barrow!! Haha!

It says it's supposed to be for public transport, but I'm not sure how I'd get on a bus round here, they're all about a metre above ground!! We don't get many buggy-friendly ones round here!

this looks odd to me

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/09/2005 19:36

i like that one misdee - they should bring out a double version!

Whizzz · 05/09/2005 19:36

Look how tiny it folds up though !
Next thing will be a folding shopping bag to put your baby in !

Or maybe a kind of hat combined with a baby carrier so it doesn't get in the way at all !

The Stokke Xplory looks a bit wierd, but I love it! Have seen it around a bit now, and seen a couple up close and they seem fab. Would have suited DD as she loved being able to see what was happening around here - would ahve given her a great viewpoint.

misdee · 05/09/2005 19:38

it looks very flimsey to me.

i like my zapp, its very robust, tho not balenced very well. need some weights for the front really.

LIZS · 05/09/2005 19:40

Bran has the P an T's one, I think !

misdee · 05/09/2005 19:42

i was so when aloha won the stokke one, but doubt i would've been brave enough to use it. i get enough comments about the p and t i have lol.

bran · 05/09/2005 19:42

Here I am, yes I do have one of those Phil and Ted pushchairs, here is a summary of my findings. I should also point out that it definitely isn't suitable for a young baby as it doesn't recline fully.

I would probably be interested in selling it, but I can't help but be honest about not liking it so I'm unlikely to get a buyer.

misdee · 05/09/2005 19:43

bran stick it on ebay. then buy mny citisport off me.

Hulababy · 05/09/2005 19:43

The Stokke one is getting more and more popular round here. I have seen more than a couple round town now.

Whizzz · 05/09/2005 19:44

Xplory one reminds me of a golf cart

(sorry to anyone whos got one - I'm sure its very handy)

I can't believe how much they have changed since we bought DSs 5 years ago !

LIZS · 05/09/2005 19:48

The Xplory reminds me of those shopping trollies where you put the infant carrier to go around the supermarket ! Saw a rip off of the Frog somehwere recently too , about 1/3 of price of original, and there are already different versions of the original. Somehow seats on Explory and Frog looks so small for a toddler.

stitch · 05/09/2005 19:48

i love all of them. wish i needed a new pushchair. but my youngest is 2.6. maybe ill have to have another baby

janeybops · 05/09/2005 19:49

I think the Stokke Xplory pushchair on mothercare looks odd. sorry can't do link

2.6 you still have months left to use a buggy! my ds is 3 and i keep buying them, though admittedly these days they are more of a glorified shopping trolley than a seat for ds.

bran · 05/09/2005 20:11

misdee , you get points (but sadly no sale) for trying.
