Hi

I posted these in my antenatal group:

About last night:

Had really weird couple of hours last night. Went to bed but really felt I couldn?t breathe ? do you know that feeling when you really want/ need to yawn, but no matter how deeply you breathe you can?t? Well I was like that for ages, kept getting up to walk around/ stretch. I can only lie on my left and just couldn?t get comfortable. In the end I piled up a load of pillows and lay my chest on them so that I was on my front, but there was no pressure on my bump, and my knees tucked under me. I managed to sleep like that for a while, but woke up after my leg had gone to sleep! Slept for the rest of the night, though.

And this afternoon:

Can feeling 'weird? mean anything? Just had a major hot flush and feel light-headed and generally not quite ?with it? ? just how I felt last night when I just couldn?t settle. Don?t know whether to phone anyone or whether it?s just related to my lack of sleep last night? And who would I phone?

Can?t decide whether I?m just tired or paranoid or whether feeling ?not quite right? could be something? So thought I?d ask here as well!

Thanks Smile

Ps ? I?m 36+5 (But my own dates put me at 36+1 and I know when I ovulated!!)

No ones replied, so here's a quick reply. I have been feeling a bit 'under the weather' some days for the last week or so. Flushed and hot (but thermometer says no fever) tired and just generally fed up.

Nothing's happened here yet though, and doctor today didn't seem interested...

HTH, I'm 38 weeks.

It's probably just normal late pregnancy stuff but you should mention it to doc or mw next time you visit. I know I had a couple of bouts of "tight or shallow" breathing when I was far along cause your lungs don't have as much room. Get some rest and if the weird feelings persist do talk to someone about it!
Good luck!

Thanks. I thinks it's just 'one of those things'. I've had my blood pressure checked and it's ok. I've also had some cramping, but have been told just to monitor this.
