Baby sling for a big bosom

Anybody have a one they recommend? I'm 36 weeks with my second dd. First loved being carried round, had a baby bjorn but I was terrified of suffocating her (am an H cup Blush). Live in a very rural area with few footpaths but some lovely walks, so in a bid to get fresh air and fit, thought a sling would be a good idea. Thank you in advance...

Have you looked at the Wilkinet?

It seems very complicated to put on because of long ties, but v easy after just a few goes and means you can adjust the fit as you tie it.

I always get painfully full of milk and found sling could get very uncomfortable if too tight, but liked the Wilkinet (have a Bjorn too and a hammock type at one stage).

I think the tightness and warmth of baby can set off the milk too in these situations and had a few times with not enough breastpad to cushion it in other slings etc, so there are many benefits to a secure fit that doesn't squish the chest!

Good luck with finding one that helps!

The Kari-me was good for me. If you are going to do lots of walking you have to make sure you've tied it tight as its stretchy so you don't want it to work loose.

I had a basic ring sling and also a Bjorn and was fine with both.

I never felt up to tackling the challenge of Wilkinet macramé.

Trixie, I like the look of the Kari - me, are you big busted?? I know the bjorn will be fine when she's older, it's just the first few weeks I don't want to suffocate her!

The Close baby carrier is great, soft and stretchy, very adjustable and quick to put on. Pretty pricey at 50 odd quid but they can normally be found on e-bay.

Kari Me. I was a massive size 20 with G cup boobs when I used mine and it was great.

I have a moby and big boobs (was H initially after birth) amd had no problems at all - I think its because you position baby where you want them with wraps
