Long sleeve low neck maternity T shirts

Anyone seen them? It occurred to me that a lot of my sleeveless/short-sleeved summer maternity tops/dresses could go into winter if I wear them with a long-sleeved t-shirt underneath. Preferably in black or white. But I can only find high-necked/crew-necked ones like these from Next).
I'd prefer low-V-neck or low round-neck (my cleavage is the only impressive thing about my pregnancy figure! Grin)

Anyone got any ideas?
I know I can wear a normal long Tee underneath but that is not very comfortable, nor does it make the clothing look very good - you can usually see the layers straining across the bump underneath what I am wearing.

Ta. :)

I got one like that from ebay!!! It has been my saviour for jeans and tops. I would advise having a mooch on there and you'll pick up some bargains :)

Not strictly maternity, but Sainsburys do a plain long sleeved top with a low neck that doesn't seem too tight round the middle. Maybe not suitable for the third trimester, but should be fine for the first six months or so.

Other than that, could you cut off the long sleeved top underneath the bust, and wear it with a bump band to keep your tummy warm? I got my bump bands from ebay reasonably cheap.

I also find the cut of clothes from Peacocks really baggy around the tummy - might be worth a look in there.

DP
or H&M

I've got one if you want it! Long sleeved white t-shirt, size 14 or thereabouts.

Isabella Oliver do some really nice scoop-neck long sleeve tops... not cheap though!

bluecardi · 21/09/2010 09:29

H&M? Not preg but last year got lots of things there. Also Isabella Oliver - tight stretchy fit so would be good under tops.

I really like the Isabella Oliver scoop neck long tees. I have one in black and one in grey and I live in them. I also have the short sleeve version. Just really flattering and comfortable and they have an bit of support for the boobs as well which I like.

Try Asda I got some from there.

Thanks for the tips!
Am in 3rd trimester and bump is getting really big now, although the rest of me is a 12/14. This makes ordinary tops no good because the tops are too short and if bought a size up, the backs and shoulders and armpits too baggy. On the plus side, I won't be wearing mat stuff for too much longer - just til December, so unfrotunately the lovely Isabella O stuff will be too pricey on a cost-per-wear basis (this is why I am hoping to extend life of summer purchases by wearing long tees underneath).

The DP one looks great, and wow thanks Octaviapink, will message you! I will go and root about in H&M though I couldn't find anything last weekend

Isabella Oliver. I wore mine loads and then sold them on ebay for 2/3 the original price. Well worth it.

PaigeTurner · 21/09/2010 10:34

H&M are rubbish if you have big boobs.

Went to Topshop at the weekend and most of their maternity stuff is great - including long-sleeve tees.

Espirit online have some maternity wear and plain long sleeve scoop tops in a variety of colours. Quite reasonable also.
