I am 8 wks 2 days pregnant and have bled a little.
I had a slight brownish stain yesterday but had an early night and it stopped. This morning went to work and it started again by 11am and this time it was redder. Its not very much but I have a slight backache and a bit of a tender tummy. Do you think this is the start of a m/c?

I am 43 and read on internet that there is a 50% chance of miscarriage at my age.

i had lots of bleeding with ds and he is a boouncy soon to be 2yr old. Go to your local early pregnancy unit and get checked out as they can let u know whats happening.

Rested this afternoon and it seems to have lessened. I must add that I work in a pre-school nursery, lots of bending and on your feet all the time. Trouble is I havent told them i'm pregnant yet.

aww hun just go and get checked out to make sure nothing is wrong. I can understand about the bending etc and it can be stressful this pregnancy has been worse because of looking after the said 2yr old..lol

Nemo1977 · 05/09/2005 14:38

just tell them i know its hard but if something were to happen you would need time off and it may also help to reduce thew amount of bending and lifting you sdo. Otherwise take the time off sick till you have been and then explain?

Thnx Nemo . Think I will have to tell them. This is my first day back after the school holidays.
