40+5 and baby is sooo active

I thought she was 'settling down' a bit when i turned 40 weeks but the last 24 hours she has been kicking and bouncing around more than ever. Last week she was almost fully engaged (I think she still is head down and into the pelvis) but still, wriggling and wriggling and kicking , bum up and down , side to side, really enjoying herself. I'm worried she still has too much room and thinks she is there to stay lol?

Is this level of activity usual at this late stage? I've got a hyper one haven't I!?

I'd like to hear what anyone more experienced has to say about this too.

I'm due today (ARGH!) and the last week or so (particularly between 7 and 11 at night!) he wriggles and rolls about like theres no tomorrow and when I woke up this morning he was right up under my ribs.

He was half way engaged when I had a scan 2 weeks ago.

I am due on wednesday and I too am getting concerned that he is still having a little party in there especially at night! I keep telling him its nearly time but doesnt seem to be on the move in the right direction!!

Bump is defo on the move in the right direction here - the amount of shooting pains I'm getting through my cervix (again especially in the evenings!) is a nightmare!

He just seems to want to move in every other directions AS WELL as down!
