Hi all
just wondered if anyone else feels like i do. im 37 weeks today and have had a gurling stomach all day with a few trips to the toilet (sorry tmi) i feel anxious and overwhelmed and stuck between wanting to enjoy my last few weeks of pregnancy and wanting it done with now.
Does anyone else feel like this?

i felt like that towards the end. in my case, trips to the toilet didn't signal the start of anything. i think the last couple of weeks are bittersweet. the further along you get the more you want it done with, but enjoy the quiet time Smile

37+1 and totally fed up with being pregnant, but on the other hand want to make the most of the time with DD before her world changes forever. Badly want to wear my own clothes again and drink tonnes of coffee but don't want to give birth - could go on for hours....

thanks warthog, youre right about them being bittersweet
hevstar i'm getting nervous about the labour now. kept thinking it cant be as bad as the last time (23 hours) but now reality sinking in that it could be just as long

could be, but also you never know. my second was 1 hour from when the mw finally admitted i was actually in labour. in reality probably about 4 hours.

it will be different this time.

i found it easier in that i knew what was happening and what to expect. already knew about black poos and changing nappies.

i'm pg with no. 3 now.

yes it does drag on. dd2 was a week overdue and i was beside myself. every night i'd go to sleep thinking 'tonight is the night it'll all start' and wake up so disappointed / relieved in the morning.

hang in there. can you get help with your other lo so you have a bit of time to yourself?

oh good. that'll make a huge difference. dd1 has just started school too, but dd2 isn't settling into pre-school. i think she's just to young so am considering pulling her out. poof goes my two mornings a week.
