6 weeks pregnant with huge, sore bosoms - can anyone recommend a bra?

I was looking in Marks and Spencers on Saturday and couldnt find anything suitable and I wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere. I need something supportive (only a c/d cup but need support) and soft. Sports bras squash my poor bosoms so not one of those please. Any advice appreciated!

I have huge boobs and am pg and swear by the doreen triumph...it is a proper old womans bra but lovely all the same and very comfy. Or mothercare pregnancy bras.

Definitley the Doreen Triumph , wore one all the way through my three pregnancies and eventually even in bed at the end, they're just what you need

really? well it doesnt sound very sexy lol but I will definitely try one - doesn't it give you 'pointy bosoms'?

no actaully it gives you quite a nice shape or at least they're not at your ankles, they're quite well hoiked up! It won't turn any tricks on the passion front tho, it looks horrible !

yep, and tbh they don't make ur boobs look like they're on ur chest - a work college thought i'd lost weight when really i'd just got a new bra! lol.

Nemo1977 · 05/09/2005 11:02

i agree it does make u look thinner...lol It lifts them up better than any wonderbra could...u just cant really wear any low cut tops with them as it would look like your nans bra..lol

munz · 05/09/2005 11:05

lol, init just nad the bloomin straps are about 2 inches wide! still deffo best support bra i've had, mum put me onto them. about £22 that's the only draw back - unless u lot know anywhere cheaper than alders/contessa?

Nemo1977 · 05/09/2005 11:06

I used the Vanity Fair style no. 535 (no, I hadn't heard of the make either, but my local bra shop sold it) which is very supportive, but soft and comfy and the straps aren't too huge, although it has 4 hooks at the back.
