Me too, thinking of Georgie xx

Alba have been on the Spatone for a couple of weeks now and do seem to have more energy :) though midwife wants to recheck iron levels in a couple of weeks. Am finding it's much less noticeable in apple juice than any other kind! It's just the SPD now. Told to leave work early today and not come back basically, GP says he'll sign me off when I reach the self certify limit. ML starts 3 weeks today so I suppose I've almost got there. Kind of annoyed and relieved at the same time, bit all over the place really and quite hormonal too! Confused

Toomuch agree sounds ligament related but also it sounds similar to the beginnings of my SPD so keep an eye on it.

Buffs glad scan was fine.

Caribou hope you'll join us properly soon, 12 weeks is encouraging so hopefully your scan will be fine :)

Gi1da · 01/11/2010 21:30

Big happy wave to CaribouMoo have been looking forward to seeing you here x

Buffs glad to hear minibuff is the right way up (or is that down?) but holy moly at darn hospital bods not reading notes! Grrr!

So touched by Georgie's circle of light tonight. Hope it's been a healing day for you Louise x

thefatladyscreams · 01/11/2010 21:43

There must be little rays of light all over the country tonight in memory of Georgie xxx

Welcome Caribou - great to have you on board.

louisesh · 01/11/2010 22:45

Thanks all for your lovely messages all yor candles have kept Georgie nice and warm.Service was very nice and dignified loads of people for Georgies service, all went as well as can be expected.Caught up with the midwifes who 'd delivered Georgie , laods of my colleagues, friends and family.People came back to ours for food ,Long day but had to be done still miss her soo much but hoping today will help. Thanks very much for your lovely thoughts and candles XXXXX

zayja · 02/11/2010 00:07

You're in my thoughts often louise and sweet Georgie and your family too. Glad to hear the service was nice. Will light a candle tonight for Georgie.

HappyGirl1 · 02/11/2010 10:40

Louise thinking of you loads, I'm sure yesterday was really tough but lovely that Georgie was remembered all over the country. Thinking of you and your family xx

Welcome CaribouMoo - this is a great thread Smile

Had a big big contraction this morning on the way to work that scared the living daylights out of me! So so so different to Braxton Hicks. It was so painful as well but I think more so cos I wasn't expecting it and it was so sudden - hopefully with the real thing because I'll be expecting it, it'll be easier and I'll breathe properly through it. Fun times!

Osch · 02/11/2010 11:12

Hello all,

I haven't been on for a while, so thought i'd pop in, also seem to have dropped off the list so have added myself back on....

Louise - I am truly sorry to hear your news, we lost our little boy at 36+3 in March this year during childbirth. I am devastated for you as i know how truly heartbroken you must be. The only words i have is take your time and don't listen to other people telling how you should be feeling, only time will make the pain ease. Take care of yourself. x (((hugs)))

Thinking of you too Louise.
Just wanted to let you know, baby is now home, still under the care of the neo natal midwives, but doing well, having lots of expressed breast milk, a touch of formula, and an occasional breast feed. He's so gorgeous, and tiny, he was 8lb at birth, but dropped a fair bit in the unit and is now 7lb 80z. We named him Arlen.
Congratulations to the other ladies who have also recently had their babies, and to everyone who has just joined, or had good news, scans etc, havnt got a lot of time to catch up properly at the moment! X

Just a quicky to say WELCOME BACK to carimoo and YAY and stuff

Hi all, am a bit less Angry now at nhs, hospitals, and so on. It's just things that make you mad - eg. They've booked me in for a stretch 'n' sweep 2 weeks after due date. This cannot be done by midwife (local, 30 years experience, will come to house or is based 15 minutes away) but must be done by consultant's registrar (ie midical student, very little experience, based an hour away). Makes me very shocked and cross, but will hopefully not come to that. Will be hillwalking from 38 weeks and bouncing on ball and having lots of curry and sex and everything else i can think of to avoid it! But dh has exam on the 17th so have to cross my legs until then. This baby thing's a balancing act, innit?

Glad all's calmed down a bit Effi, appending list with his name in!

HappyGirl1 · 03/11/2010 15:17

Hi All,

Louise thinking of you lots and lots and georgie.

How is everyone today?

Lots of nausea here which at 35 weeks I would have thought was a bit random but there we go!

xx

clareanna · 03/11/2010 23:03

happy well that just isn't on! Could be because your stomach/ digestive bits have got a bit more squashed? Hope it passes quickly!

HappyGirl1 · 04/11/2010 10:47

I've no idea Clareanna! Yesterday evening had really bad nausea, then really bad period pains and diarohea this morning but feeling a bit better now.. been having a bit of a google and it seems they COULD be labour signs - eeek!!! However I feel fine now again so I don't think labour is imminent and given that I'm only 35 weeks that's good news! Still I kind of just want to know now if it's all going to come back or not!

Hi all

Feeling thoroughly frazzled and hormonal today, so please check your stats as it is probable I have coc*ed up at least twice!

So no sleep last night (and dd did not sleep much either, she's all odd today). And I can't get comfortable anywhere. And I have these bursts of mad cleaning - all the windows in the house (conservatory included) got cleaned the day before yesterday. And I want to cry at the moment because dd poo'ed at swimming and i'm soooo embarrassed. and there's someone else's van parked outside my house. And dh is upstairs sleeping because he's working nights so we have to be quiet. And I feel permanently sick and need to pee/the other aaaaalll the time. It's all a bit much. Confused Confused

sorry about mememeing. Blush

Unbuffy · 04/11/2010 12:25

Hi Alba

X-posts

GO WITH ALBA'S LIST, PEEPS! CAN'T TRUST MINE!!

And did I mention the angle grinder running 24 hours next door?

louisesh · 04/11/2010 13:41

Hi , thanks again for your kind thoughts and wishes.Plodding on here went to a local support group last night was good to speak to others who ve experienced stillbirth and to hear of the success they ve had post stillbirth to have children.

Attending a counsellor this pm, its all soo draining but needs to be done.My DH went back to work this am but got sent home as too upset.Got AL tomorrow then working 3 days only next week , which is better for me also as mum and sis just gone home and couldn t face a whole week on my own next week.Need to be eased in gently.Family said they ll come back up, have been wonderful...but its not fair on anyone.

Hope all are well XX

Gi1da · 04/11/2010 19:07

Glad to hear you have lots of sources of support Louise. I hope you had a good session this afternoon too. Hugs from here x

Blimey Buffs too much there to comment on - crazy cleaning, errant poo stories and noise issues - what a come down after your relaxing spa break you poor thing! Can you lock yourself in the bathroom for a quiet half an hour?

NotsoHappy sorry about the sickiness. Very unfair. Feeling any better today?

Great to hear you lovely boy is home at last Effi. Gorgeous name too. Congrats again Smile

And welcome back Osch

I had the midwife come round to the house yesterday to discuss homebirth which is what I will try for. Easy to say when you have absoutely no idea what you are letting yourself in for but I guess it's the same process whether I'm here or there so may as well see if I can stay in familiar surroundings. We are only 10 minutes away from the hossie if I need to be transfered. All feeling a bit too real now though. Must go and listen to the hypno cd and see if I can get more zen about it.

Sorry short post, old Brian seems to be losing it a bit at the mo. I just want to go and lie down. Only two weeks more commuting..... the end of that can't come soon enough!

Best wishes to one and all xx
