Hi everyone
I just wondered if anyone knew how long it should take to be informed of your first meeting with a midwife and first scan appointment.
I went to my doctor over a month ago and have still heard nothing. Just into the 9th week of my pregnancy and wasn't sure whether I should be calling the doc/hospital to check on this.
This may all be normal but as this is my first pregnancy just not sure! Many thanks for any advice :)

I've heard it can take ages these days.....I'd call the GP surgery to check when to expect an appointment.

Good luck Smile

I went to my docs and was given a direct midwife booking number as they dont do it through the doc now they said. I gave them all my details then prob a week later i got an app letter at 12 weeks. Systems are prob different in different areas, im in SE. Prob give them a ring anyway to chase them up.
