Just wondered if anybody had experienced a few spots of blood not a lot but as though it were a shaving cut you dabbed with a tissue after having a wee? I haven't gone to hospital because it was just a bit and it looked like it had come from a cut only I hadn't shaved, had sex, or been aware i'd done anything to cause a cut there. I am feeling baby move a lot so not worried just wondering if anyone has experience of this. It was fresh bright red blood but literally like when your partner cuts his face shaving and he dabbs it with a tissue to stop the bleeding. Excuse explanation the only way I can describe. I also had discharge but it was just the regular which makes me think it wasn't coming from inside. Please let me know what you think. Thanks for reading.

It could be rectal bleeding due to hemorrhoids.

I checked that first, I thought the same but it was definately not from there. I've had nothing since and baby is moving lots and although this is my second baby I have had such a different pregnancy so I am still asking lots of questions. Thanks for reply.

I think you should ring you midwife as even though it was only spotting it could be that your going to have a show i had my second baby at 30+3 so thats what id advise but dont worry yourself as the stress often makes things worse

I had this with dc3. Because the blood was red, the mw wanted me to go to hospital to be monitored and checked out properly. I stayed in one night, was sent home and had to take it easy for a few days.

Everything was fine.
