watery discharge?

I am 18+5. A few times today ive had what I think is clear watery discharge. Ive had blue knickers on (lol!) and can normally see the creamy coloured discharge, which I have also had at some point today.

Its small wet patches, doesnt smell (so not pee)

Ive had no pains other than the usual stretching pains.

Is it anything to worry about do you think?

Um, I don't mean to panic you but please go to hospital for a scan or at least a doppler.

I lost one of my twins and didn't notice the amniotic fluid leaking. IT probably isn't this, but I wish more than anything I had seen it and done something about it.

Jacksmybaby · 18/09/2010 19:27

No, this sounds v normal to me.

Bumperlicious · 18/09/2010 19:34

Sorry for the TMI but I seem to have had damp knickers constantly throughout this pregnancy!

Sure it's fine, just keep an eye on it getting worse.

It is very probably fine but please get it checked. They can check very easily at the hospital with special paper and check the cervix etc.

I have also sadly had late loss (almost 21 weeks) and also had the watery fluid (started with trickles and got more but not enough to worry as I thought at the time) but was told that it was fine etc and then went into labour, my hindwater had broke and infection had got in, I was fully dilated by the time I got to hospital. I often wish someone had discovered it sooner..However, it was realised in my next pregnancy that i have other factors with very high risks of late loss so it is not common in most people.

I don't want to scare you but wish someone had told me to get it checked. i hope all is Ok though and sure it will be.

Was about to post and ask how you were.

Please don't panic at what I said, I feel terrible for if I've freaked you out. (DTDs were 32 weeks btw, this could be perfectly normal for earlier in pregnancy).

Good luck xx

Dont feel bad loopy. I am high risk for a number of reasons, it makes sense for me to be checked out :)

What did she say? :)

Hi julezboo

Thinking of you.

I really hope all is well. There is a product called amniosense pads which detect amnio fluid leakage. Worth looking up.

Thanks all, after being passed from pillar to post this morning I finally got sent from MW, to ring maternity ward, who told us to ring OOH, who spoke to gynae doc, who sent us to A&E who then sent us to maternity ward where they checked cervix which was closed and did a scan of baby and all is fine :)
