Hi there,

After having recurrent UTIs through the first bit of my pregnancy, I was diagnosed with hydronephrosis of my kidney last week. The doctor told me if it gets worse then they have to consider inducing. I am only 26 weeks so not yet!
I did ask her what would happen if it stays as it is and she said in most cases they induce at 37 weeks when baby is full term.
Because I was panicking I don't really know if I understood her right...

Does anyone have experience and does it mean that even if I stay as I am now I will most likely be induced at 37 weeks but if it gets worse, maybe before.

I am seeing a consultant on thurs but just thought I would ask.

Obviously 37 weeks isn't as scary as 26 weeks for induction but it will mean I have to regiggle a few plans etc!

thanks :) xxx
