Getting involved on an antenatal thread on here is one of the best things I ever did. There's nothing like a group of women all going through the same thing who will be utterly honest with you and sympathise and congratulate and hold your hand.

I met a couple of my closest friends through MN and I deserve it because I sold my soul and most of my waking hours to it.

thanks RaisedFromPerdition, that's great news - it can be quite lonely at times when you have no close friends that are pregnant. This site is just great for helping you with little niggles and just to know that others feel the same way.

Christmas Day by my dates, 19th by hospital!

My mum said I was the best birth of the three of us, there was no-one in the hospital so she got all the attention

I'm due on December 23rd! I find any ongoing threads like the antenatal ones a bit overwhelming. Everyone else seems to remember exactly who everyone is and my memory has turned to jelly since being pregnant. It's an exciting time of year to be due, but I do worry about it's birthdays. Do you think we can give them an official summer birthday too, like the queen, or just celebrate a month early every year?

Both my dc are Christmasish babies 31/12 and 4/1 it's an expensive time

Reading about pregnant ladies though makes me broody so I'm not even sure why I'm posting here

DS2 was/is a xmas baby, born 28th Dec 3 days early. I will admit birthdays are not quite the same as my other two boys simply because people are away, spending time with family all partied out, makes parties more difficult. But tbh ds2 doesn't care its still his birthday! winter babies are so lovely and snuggly too!
