especially when your last LMP was over two years ago?

am expecting dc5, and had a dating scan back in june. which gave me an EDD or 30th dec.

however midwife is measuring me two weeks ahead. which isnt huge i know, but am wondering if the dating scan would be out?

mine has dated me about 10 days further on than i could possibly be.

iirc the dating scans are most accurate up until 12 weeks.

don't you usually measure bigger the more dc you have had previously?

hopefully it will mean you avoiding induction if you are 2 weeks further on that the agreed edd.

i was around 14 weeks according to the scan when it was done. which makes me think Hmm

The dating scans are very accurate upto 12 weeks as babies grow at a very uniform rate.

People put them out as they forget they could of oved later, taken upto 10 days to implant and had sperm survive for 5 days, all of which can affect when you think you conceived as such and affect dates.

As for FH, I'd go off your dating scan, FH is sooooo innaccurate I am measuing 6 weeks ahead and baby is on the 50th centile perfect growth. Different for me they are usually 90th.

I'd still go on your scan rather than your fundal height - really the latter is way more innaccurate.
