Has anyone else had hot burning blotchy hands & feet during pregnancy?
I'm 27 weeks and currently on holiday and this is starting to drive up the wall.
My hands - and feet, but my hands are bothering me the most - get uncomfortably hot and I've noticed today that they're getting blotchy as well. The skin on my palms is blotchy red, but the skin on my arms and the back of my hands is fine. It's feels almost like they're sunburned - that uncomfortable, slightly itchy, burning feeling.
It's worse at night (why I've only just noticed they're blotchy as well) and it's making sleep even harder. I've taken to sleeping with ice packs wrapped in towels.
It's been a bit warmer here than at home right now, but not excessively so and today, when it's cool and damp, my hands are worse than ever so I don't think it can be down to the heat after all.
I've tried looking it up but all I can find is references to OC and as that is more itching, with no rash, it doesn't seem right.
Help!!!
