Possible to ''miss'' a show?

May be a daft question and I know everyone has a mucus plug thingy - but is it possible to miss losing it? i.e when you go for a wee in the dark in the night or that it comes out that thin and watery that you don't notice?

Thanks.

i 'missed the show' with my first pregnancy, i'm 39 weeks now and wondering whether i'll miss it this time too!

Yeah - I'm 39+5 and just would have thought I would have seen some sign of it by now - or at least a change in discharge or something...sorry TMI!

I couldn't have missed mine; it was huge! which was somewhat of a surprise. It didn't come out until I was about to start pushing though.

I didn't see a show with any of my 5 pregnancies.

I didn't see a mucus plug with either of mine. Didn't see a show at all with DC1 and with DC2 it was just a small amount of fresh red blood.

Definitely possible, I missed mine.

At ante-natal class they taught us that anything is possible regarding the order of things at birth. Your waters could break first - or not until your baby is actually being born. You could get a show, you might not, etc.

Mine seems to be coming out in stages over the past week or two which the MW says is my cervical neck shortening. Nothing bloody yet though. Am 39+4.
