Hello,
Just wondering if anyone is hoping for a homebirth and using hypnobirthing techniques? I am pretty excited about it and it would be fab to meet other people who are into it too.If you are based in London perhaps we could meet for a coffee and a chat?

I didn't but a friend did. she wasn't able to be at home but did the hypnobirthing bit and reckons it was all lovely and she "breathed" the baby out!. I'll mention your post to her and see if she'll contact you. Best of luck - afraid I am too cynical and sceptical for it!

Hi Lucy,

I'm in London and due to go on the hypnobirthing course in Primrose Hill at the end of Sep. Read Marie Mongan's book and thought it sounded fantastic! Its my first baby so I'm not sure I'm brave enough for a home birth, but hoping to use them in the birthing centre and then perhaps at home next time!

When are you due? I'm only 20 weeks, but have been advised its good to learn the techniques early and practise. Where abouts in London are you? Have you been on any courses yet?

Hello Ba8y1,
I am on my second read of that book and loving it, trying to listen to the c.d as much as possible too (But I mostly fall asleep) but haven't been on a course. I am 32 weeks and in Camberwell, what about you?

Thanks Trixie, would be nice to hear from our friend. I only know of one person who has done it, but the birth stories on hypnobirthing.co.uk are incredible.
