Organic Baby Toiletries

Do hope i'm posting in right place.

I'm looking for organic baby toiletries, have come across a few websites (Green People, natural child etc.) and was hoping that some of you who may have used such products could recommend a brand that you found to be the best.

Has anyone been using organic toiletries for baby and found that they really make the difference? All suggestions, ideas appreciated.

Thank you

3rd the littleme stuff - not only does it smell great but no sodium laurate either!!

Pixiefish · 04/09/2005 13:57

Check carefully- one of the little me bubble baths does have sodium laurel/parabens in it.
I use some of the little me or 'beaming baby'.
Be careful of some that appear to be safe but they still have the sodium thingymy in it

We use some little me - love the talc and use the healing balm as a bum cream, never had any rashes. Also use Neal's Yard by mail order (they have a website too).

i think the green people range is the best

dd2 has excema and its fine

now she's a bit older we all use JASON stuff from health food shops

Green People stuff is lovely and they are a really ethical company. It is quite pricey but you only need a tiny, tiny amount of product such as shampoo or bubble bath.

Blackduck · 04/09/2005 14:29

I tend not to use bubble bath so hadn't noticed the sodium stuff in it - use the hair stuff and the lotions....
On the website it says no sodium so hummm.....are they lying....?

The Jason stuff is good too - love the underarm deodrent (for me not ds of course...)

I popped into Boots last week for a pressie for a friend who'd just had a baby. I chose a cuddle robe set with bubbles and lotion normal price £14.95 it was reduced down to £9.00 then when I took it to the till it came up £3.79 - now thats what I call a bargain.

Infacol has parabens in it, I noticed the other day!

hunkermunker · 04/09/2005 15:31

Not that I bath DS in it, you understand...!

Have used Earth Friendly Baby Shampoo and Body Wash since Tessa was about 6 months old (she's now 2 1/2), just water before then. Lasts for AGES, smells lovely but can only find it mail order.
Will have to try Boots stuff with No 2

I use "Organic Baby" bodywash which is lovely - lavender and no SLS or anything - get it in Waitrose they also do baby salve which i have not used. Think it helps ds who is prone to ezcema.
