faintest line ever

well i cracked! i had to do another test today....
and im still unsure of the answer! it was a pound land test, u have to wait 5 minutes for an answer....only one strong line was showing for 4 mins..then on last minute the faintest ever 2nd line came up....what the hell does that mean??
ohhhh stop with the tormenting already!!

Surely that means that the right hormone is present but only in v small quantities as it is such early days?

i would be 3 weeks and 5 days preg if it is right....ohh im so excited...im so worried about being let down...arrhhh the agony!

leave it a couple of days then go and buy a clearblue digi expensive but also no qualms about the answer. I had the faintest line with this baby and dh even told me i was imagining it..lol Am now 66mths g.

Um... I had a fainter-than-faint line once and AF arrived 3 days later, 3 days late conceived DS2 the next monh though.

my bf had the faintest line ever and she's due on the 10th october so it sounds like a + to me. i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

ive been feeling really sick all day...and got discharge...i hope its not down to the hot weather!! lol

Hi - i tested on Tuesday and thought i was imagining a line as it was so so so so faint! Came on here and was basically told the same as you, a line is a line!

Did another test literally the day after and it was a nice dark line!!

ohhh thankyou so much for that! i actually went back to look a while ago, and thought...nope im just imaging it being there...or im just seeing it coz its the outline....but u've given me hope! thankyou!
i never thought sickness all day long would make me feel so happy!

thanks Faeriemum - by my sums i reckon i'm about 6 weeks + 2 days!! I tested on the day i was due on just out of curiosity as i'd been feeling really sick for a few days but i was having period like cramps (which apparently is normal!!). Did the test, waited 3 mins i didnt think i could see anything. Looked a bit closer and there was the faintest line there!! Still couldnt believe it so tested the next day (using a really cheap hpt btw!!) and got a nice dark line! Going to see dr tomorrow.

Do you have any other children or is this your first (sorry for being nosy!!!!)

hi mandy moo...sounds like whats happening with me! have been suspicious for a few days now...sickness and cramps and just feeling not myself.....will have to wait til tuesday to do another test....cant wait!
i have a 17month old son...he's been the centre of my world since i found out i was having him....i hope he can bare to share me!

is this your first? ...i dont know why but im feeling more scared about the idea of being pregnant again...i spose coz i know whats in store! ...the waddling, the cramps in the middle of the night....im am actually looking forward to it again!

I bought 3 tests off ebay, first one negative, second and third ones the faintest lines ever only after about 10 mins thought I was imagining it (even though I had that feeling).

Bought Clearblue digital and it was positive due in January, shell out for the clearblue!

thanks kitty, yeah am deffo heading to tescos for a pack of clearblues....anything to stop me going over and over it in my head all day long!

I think you have to know one way or another, I know £15 is a lot of money (especially if you mess up the first test like I did) but then you will know.

Good luck I hope you get the result you want! oh and come on and tell us!
