Oh Emma, I feel for you. I truly do. I went through the same sleepless nights when i was about 12 weeks. I found that after a nice long warm bath a back or leg rub did the trick. Also my niece would draw small circles on my shoulder with her finger which sent me straight off - but maybe thats just me.

It gets a little better before it gets worse again.
Good luck Smile

I'm 14+5. Since about 10 weeks, I've had no trouble getting to sleep, but when I wake up to pee (at least twice a night at the moment) it takes between one and two hours to get back to sleep. It's so frustrating. Not as bad as you, but I feel your pain. x

Hi
I had this early on in pg & am now stuggling with it again at 34wk! It is so annoying, in the afternoons I'm fighting to stay awake, but when I go to bed at night I just don't feel tired! What I do (I only do it occassionally so that I can get a good sleep) is take just 1 paracetamol 20mins before bed & i think it just relaxes me more & I then fall asleep. It's probably not recommended but through out this pg I've probably only taken 6 paracetamol so don't feel too bad doing it.

I have had lots of sleeping problems throughout my pregnancy. Im now 29 weeks. I so feel your pain. I drink valerian tea an hour before I go to bed and this seems to help. Google it. It has sedative effects! Buy it at Holland & Barret or similar. Good luck!
