codeine withdrawal in newborn?

Hi everyone, just looking for some advice from someone who has been in a similar situation...

I've been prescribed co-dydramol since 25 weeks of preg (now nearly 36) for pelvic girdle pain and related issues. Some docs I've seen seem totally unconcerned about me taking it, others said that I shouldn't take it in the last 2 weeks of preg as it could lead to withdrawal symptoms in my newborn baby.

I am taking 2 tablets at night (500/10 mg), sometimes taking two tablets twice a night when it's bad, to try and alleviate the discomfort enough to sleep, so not taking the maximum daily dose. Has anyone done similar and their newborn not had problems? I seem to remember that there have been people on here taking far larger quantities of codeine but I am not sure whether they stopped before EDD...
