Hi, I felt my baby's first movements in the middle of the tummy, near my belly button :-) it felt like a goldfish doing a somersault :) congratulations!

gosh yours must be an olympic diver!! Mine was like a gas bubble like in a can of coke Smile, cant wait til it starts to actually move around and i can determine between wind and movement!!!

I felt mine in my lower tummy on the left hand side very low down. I wasn't sure at the the time (was about 16 wks along), but having been for the 20 wk scan it was confirmed that the lower left side of my tummy is where baby's legs are and the majority of his movements are still there.

Although now the little tyke has discovered that bouncing on my bladder is really fun. :)

I started to feel bubbles from about week 15 but I was never sure if they were movements or just my stomach growling (sorry this doesn't help you much), this carried on until about week 22.
However the sonographer told me at my 21 wk scan that the placenta lay between my stomach and the baby so I wouldn't feel the movements as sensitively as some other women.

Now in 26 wk and kicks are strong and i can even see my tummy moving with them; which i think is even weirder than feeling the kicks themselves.
