Hiya,

I need some advice - I am 40 weeks this Friday and have had strong braxton hicks for about 4 days now.

Today I haven't felt my baby move at all ... I am currently lying down and have just drank a fizzy drink (I heard that works) and am trying to feel for anything.

Has anyone got any other tips I can try to feel my baby move? I thought I'd give it half an hour and then ring the midwife.

Thanks xx

I always felt the baby move if I lay on one side for a while and then suddenly moved over to the other side. If you don't feel anything don't panic as I had the same thing and rushed to the hospital to see the midwife and the minute I got there the baby started kicking the bejeezus out of me. She did a doppler and it was fine. Sometimes there just isn't much room or they are sleeping. Good luck honey
