39 weeks and shocking taste in mouth

Am 39 weeks with DC3 and have, in the last week, started getting this horrible taste in my mouth. It makes all food taste pretty rotten. I have not had this in any of my other pregnancies. Anyone else experience this towards the end of their pregnancies, and does it signify that the end is nigh???!! (I wish!)

Anyone?? Am now 40 + 3 and still have this horrid taste.

I hope it doesn't as I've had that the last couple of days and I'm only 35+5! Can you ring your mw as your so far on though just for reassurance?

Hi RooBear, don't really want to bother my mw about this as it isn't really that important/serious. Just so annoying! I was hoping it was a sign of imminent labour, but still pregnant so must be just one of those things! Hope your bad taste doesn't last until the end!
