hey ive just become pg for third time, im 6 weeks and have cramping (not so bad) and bleeding the bleeding is stopping and starting mainly red now but had some clots past 2 days, i dont know whether to go to the hospital or not last mc they sent me away 3 times before i finally went back and had mc at home because they hadnt listened to me. my first mc was at 12+2days and i completly miscarried at home passing the baby in the bathroom quite traumatically. everytime i go to the hospital they think im just overracting as its happened before, i know my body and know when something isnt right if that makes sense? the bleeding has gotten worse its been 2/3 days now and im sure clotting is the worst sign there is? Sad

Can you go to your GP or do you have a community midwife drop in? You need someone to support you in a plan of action to clear up what is happening and how you manage it if need be.

I've been where you are and I really feel for you. I had my last of 3 MCs at 12 weeks in hospital and I have to say it was much more traumatic than either of the others at 9 and 7 weeks, purely due to the level of development.

At 6 weeks I think they will expect you to manage at home but they will need to check levels and you do need to know what is or isn't happening. I always went to hospital on GP referal so maybe they will take you seriously if you are refered.

I hope all goes well and don't worry about over reacting - you're not and with your history and current symptoms you have every right to be concerned.

Thinking of you.

talk to your gp! they can get you an appointment/ referral at the early pregnancy unit. by 6 weeks they should be able to scan to see what's going on and let you know either way.
sounds like you've had some rough 'care' in the past!

hugs!

From my experience, NHS direct will cover their back and suggest you go to A&E. If you can get an emergency appointment today with your doctor - explaining the situation as calmly as you can to the Dr's receptionist - you may get a referal and I think you may get a better approach to your care. The Dr may even sort you out a referal over the phone.

It's worth a try as the front line staff at the hospital don't sound too supportive where you are.
