Hi
I am currently 32+2 and last night at about 10:30pm started getting period pain that would start/stop these pains were around 20/30 mins apart they weren't particularly bad but quite uncomfortable iyswim? They didn't feel like the usual type of braxton hicks i have been getting (tightning of the bump etc) i have also for the past couple of nights been getting really achy hips and groin pain and cramp in my calves etc.

my last pg i was 36+3 when i went in to labour (7 years ago) and i forgotten so much! I do remember last time that after my waters had broke my contractions would start and stop in the same way and were like that for 4 days until i had the hormone drip to bring them on properly.

please help with any advice/experience as i feel like a crazy lady!

Hi veyron. Just wondered if you could be a little dehydrated? I only ask as when I was about 31 weeks with DD2 I had lots of period like cramping which the doctor thought was a UTI - later found out it wasn't but I did find that drinking more water definitely helped and they eased off and disappeared. It was during the really hot weather in June but I did find I was generally more thirsty while pregnant. Just a thought, may be completely irrelevant! hope you are feeling better now.x
