hi am just looking for some advice...

i have had 2 BFP tests so am guessing that i am deffo pregnant but i dont have much in the way of symptoms.

this one will be dc4 with my previous pregnancies i was very sick and had major sore boobs from 5-6 weeks. im not sure how far gone i am but i'm only feeling slightly sick occasionally and my boobs are not very tender at all. i have also had spotting on and off throughout. last night has sex and started to bleed when i got up this morning it has stopped.

am really confused as to what is going on, i have not seen a midwife yet as i only found out i was pregnant a week ago. am booked in to see her on the 21st.

has any one else had this sort of thing?

could there be something wrong??

Hi

I'm sure it's fine. not all pregnancies are the same, i've been told.

I didn't start my morning sickness until I was about 6 weeks pg.

If you're really really worried - could you not go to A&E - or is that not there sort of thing?

but really, i'm sure it's fine.

All pregnancies can be different, so everything could well be absolutely fine. Spotting is quite common and you may find symptoms suddenly kick in with a vengeance.

If worrying is getting to you, there are a few things you can do to push for more info. I would book in with your GP and mention the spotting and lack of symptoms and see if you can persuade him/her to try and get you an early scan.

You could also ask for a blood test to get an accurate HCG level, which is usually then repeated a day or two later to see whether the HCG levels are rising in a 'normal' manner. That can be reassuring.

One really really important thing in your situation is just to watch out for any unusual or severe abdominal pain. If you get this - even if it comes and goes - do go straight to a doctor. I had an ectopic pregnancy earlier in the year and these can be very dangerous.

Sorry if I've worried you even further but I feel strongly that people be aware of the possibility of an ep.

Good luck, and I hope the pregnancy continues normally and uneventfully!
