carpel tunnel?

excitedmummy2be · 12/09/2010 18:19

Sounds like carpal tunnel. My friend has this right up until she gave birth. I'm not an expert, but I don't think there is much you can do about it. Believe it clears up once you have your DC. Best to speak to GP or MW who would know the details lots better than I do! Good luck.

yep sure does- you can get a support that goes on your wrist to keep it rigid which helps ease the pressure off the nerve- not that comfy to sleep with though! I used to wake up with half a numb hand - ok this pregnancy so far though.

by the way i googled restless arms and legs in pregnancy and it seems quite common , you will have to have a look ,,

dappymoo · 13/09/2010 16:05

Yeah sounds like it is quite common, so really I'm lucky to only have it with a couple of weeks to go! But am I meant to tell my midwife or anything? It shouldn't affect a home birth right? (stupid question alert!)
