I think I have haemarroids- literally have a pain in my bum (sore sort of pain) since yesterday. Can anyone recommend the best over the counter remedy ? The last time I had these was after DD1 was born and the lovely doctor gave me Sheriproct which was fab but I am pretty sure is prescription only.

I had this when pregnant with my ds and i used coconut oil,which worked brilliantly.

anusol works very well and is OTC

DON'T WIPE YOUR BUM.

Wash.

It makes all the differenc in the world.

If you don't have a bidet or a toilet hose then use a bottle of water or time your craps so you're going straight in the shower.

I use unfragranced baby wipes - MUCH better.... . Have been cleared by my GP to use Anusol HC - good stuff. BTW even though GP says is fine, occasionally you get an over-zealous assistant who refuses to sell you anything if you are preggers and say it is for your own use. I always invent an elderly relative .

babywipes are so bad for you to use ona regular basis, you shouldn't even use them on your baby for too long,they can cause nappy rash!

water in a bottle or jug is actually much easier and way more hygeinic, and its free!
