Thanks goodness for anonymous forums !

I think I have haemarroids- literally have a pain in my bum (sore sort of pain) since yesterday. Can anyone recommend the best over the counter remedy ? The last time I had these was after DD1 was born and the lovely doctor gave me Sheriproct which was fab but I am pretty sure is prescription only.

Thanks,

b.

anusol works very well and is OTC

DON'T WIPE YOUR BUM.

Wash.

It makes all the differenc in the world.

If you don't have a bidet or a toilet hose then use a bottle of water or time your craps so you're going straight in the shower.

I use unfragranced baby wipes - MUCH better.... Smile. Have been cleared by my GP to use Anusol HC - good stuff. BTW even though GP says is fine, occasionally you get an over-zealous assistant who refuses to sell you anything if you are preggers and say it is for your own use. I always invent an elderly relative Grin.

babywipes are so bad for you to use ona regular basis, you shouldn't even use them on your baby for too long, they can cause nappy rash!

water in a bottle or jug is actually much easier and way more hygeinic, and its free!
