After a stressful day at work, I've noticed my bump feels swollen and tight. Is this normal? I'm 30 weeks and work in a busy office.

I would think it's not particularly related to having a stressful day, so I wouldn't worry if I were you. Get DP to run you a bath and get you some chocolate from the shop, have a nice long soak and then plenty of moisturiser on your bump afterwards - ideally con DP into doing it as part of a full body massage! Sounds to me like you need some serious relaxation this evening!

Caveat - am not a medical person, expect someone more knowledgeable will be along soon :)

gingerkirsty - I read that as "get your GP to run you a bath!

I thought - 'Wow, would they do that??'

Good job I read it again before calling my surgery for an appointment.

Mine used to do that with DD - we called it her yoga phase.

maybe its a growth spurt - babies have them so why not bumps?
i know when i was pg with ds i'd often feel like i'd exploded in size overnight! people at work would often comment - gosh you've popped out again on a monday morning! Hmm
