I puropusly left out 'morning' in the title as I have it 24-7.

Am only 8 weeks so have monthsof this to go.

I don't 'fancy' anything to eat, most foods make me wretch or vomit and I throw up ALOT.

I constantly feel like I am going to be sick and must heave every 10 minutes Blush

Its so horrid :(

I'm 12 weeks now and although I don't vomit very much, the nausea and tiredness just make me feel so miserable.

I can't wait for it to be over too. This time it's lasting a lot longer. I have been fine by 12 weeks in the past -4th pregnancy.

Hope it subsides soon for you and you start feeling better.

Just sending you some sympathy Totoros I found weeks 8-10 the worst and had to take 2 weeks sick leave.

I found chocolate milkshake really helped, and even if I was sick it wasn't too bad 2nd time round Blush

I found out I was having twins hence the sickness, I stopped throwing up a lot by 18/19 weeks but for most people it's usually gone by weeks 12/13. I'm now 26 weeks and am still sick occasionally. Now I have acid reflux instead.

The joys of being pregnant Grin Congratulations btw Smile

Its my 4th too :)

but I had it right up to 28 weeks in previous pregnancies so I'm not really holding out much hope!

Thanks Lativa,

Macdonalds milkshakes do help but I can't have them often! lol

Oh don't say that about twins!! My granny told me I was pregnant before I even knew and she said she thought it was twins!!

Acid reflux is awful, I hope it calms down for you and congrats on the twins, do you know what you are having?1qzy7t

Thanks, Identical girls Grin

First pregnancy but it's harder than I expected, I'm getting excited now though Smile

I found the Mars milkshake the best not the thick one though. I lost 3 kilo's in the first trimester from being so sick, so you can treat yourself as much as you like if it helps!

TotorosOcarina · 10/09/2010 10:51

Aww identical girls!! How wonderful :)

Its all worth it in the end when you get to cuddle them!

Go to your docs and ask for cyclizine. It stops the sickness and is safe in pregnancy. I'm 16 weeks and have just started taking it after a day where I couldn't keep anything down and doc was worried I'd need to go to hospital as I was very dehydrated. It is brilliant. I haven't been sick since. But if I don't take it then the pukiness returns.

pregoDragn · 21/09/2010 23:53

I'm 33 weeks and still sick! I just want this to be over so I can feel normal again. I have been taking Zofran from about 8 weeks preg and if I don't take it I spend the whole day spewing.

The worst thing is all u can really do is complain bcoz nothing is going to make u feel better until u give birth :(

My poor daughter was sick until she was about 20 weeks, and then it gradually worked away, but she does still have the odd day, mainly in the morning, she practially lived off toast..

The only plus side,is the midwife said its a good sign of a healthy pregnancy..

I've been sick a lot the last 3 weeks or so. I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and I've managed a couple of days with no sickness but was sick again today. I seem to be ok as long as I eat LOTS of carbs and don't get too hungry or too full. Actually being sick doesn't bother me too much is the regular nausea that I can't cope with and the reaction to strong smells.

I don't know if it's getting better or I'm getting better at coping with it. I've had a bad cold for a few days (no drungs Angry) and that with the tiredness is getting a bit much.

I'm 10 weeks and just starting taking cyclizine, it really does work but leaves me feeling so tired....saying that I would rather be tired than sick though. The specialist and my GP were both happy it was perfectly safe to take.
