This can't be good can it :0(

I just went to the loo and had a show ( no blood though) this is baby no. 6 for me so I'm pretty sure of what it was. Is this the start of something? Has anyone ever had this? Any advice at all would be very much appreciated

I didn't want your question to go unanswered for long but to be honest I really haven't a clue myself. You know more about pregnancy than me (this is my first). But I found this when I googled it, linking to another mumsnet post but an old one.

The 6th post I thought might be of help to you.

Good luck

I called the midwife about this the other day, there was no blood either and bascially I was told it was pregnancy fanny snot (although not quite in those exact terms).

Worth calling your MW just to describe it though just in case.

OP it could be an infection. FWIW I had this in my third pregnancy and I was sure it was something bad, it turned out to be my body trying to get rid of thrush. The symptoms were nothing like normal thrush though, it was exactly like a show. I don't think the mucous plug is formed enough at 15 weeks to come out like a show tbh.

Go and see GP and get swabbed for infection.

I am sure it is not. I had loads of discharge early on, and thought the same thing a couple of times. I know it is Baby no 6 for you, but you could easily just have lots of discharge this time. Mine was blood streaked a few times as well just to add to the worry. I didn't even have an infection, just miniscule amount of thrush which I wasn't even recommended to treat. It settled down after about 24 weeks and now is just "normal".

Thank you all so much for answering, I'm so sorry I dissapeared Blush, I went to stay with my mum so she could help with the children...

Everything seems fine with baby I called the midwife and she asked me to go in to be checked out. They examined me and said that it looked like it could be the mucas plug that had come out and they thought I might be starting to dilate, however as this is no.6 my cervix is never fully closed.

So they kept me in for a while, everything seemed to have settled down and they said the mucas plug would reform, so I have been taking it very easy!

Thank you all again for taking the time to ressure me Smile
