OMG - Just found out I am pregnant!!

Hi all. I have a 3yo dd and decided to try for baby no 2. We only started in August and am 3 days late so did a test (4 actually!!) and it is postive. I am really pleased but thought it would take us a lot longer to conceive as have been on the depo injection. We are obviously not going to tell anyone but really wanted to tell someone. xxx

congratulations! i got a positive result on monday, and took another test today just to make sure! still a BFP!

mid may i will be due. Its weird, you think about how you would feel if the test showed positive but as soon as it does you fill with worry about the coming months, will i make it to the 12 week scan, will everything be ok???

think i'm about 5 1/2 wks at the moment, so all v new. it's DC#1 too, so have no idea what's normal and what i should worry about etc!

i'm now fretting as i can't get to a midwife appointment until 7 october, when i'll be about 10 weeks - worried i'll get my scan really late, but then i suppose i'll be able to see more. yes, worry panic etc!

fingers crossed all goes well for both of us

Hey, this is the first time I've posted anything on any of these forums but have been lurking around for quite a while whilst TTC! Got my positive on Tuesday (4 of them to be precise and then one more on Wed morning!)and it's my first - am abolutely terrified!! But really pleased too. Am also at about 6 weeks I think but yet to see the Dr - can't go till Mon morn and not even sure what to expect about the whole thing!

Congratulations to everyone - it's really good to 'meet' others in the same boat especially when you can't really tell anyone. What are people doing about telling people? I'm finding it really hard to keep it a secret!

we're not telling anyone at the moment, but i'm desperate to tell my best friend. she's also pregnant at the moment (with triplets - eek!) so it would be great to have a real life comrade. still debating...

i've just come off cerazette after taking it for a couple of years - took a while for my cycle to get back to normal. when i was googling what on earth was going on, read a few stories about women MCing at 6-8 weeks, so might hang on until 8 weeks before telling my best friend and my mum.

bit giddy though! do you think you'll crack?!

It is so lovely to hear that there are so many of us all recently found out we are pregant.

This is my 2nd pregancy however very different! I was 5 weeks pregnant when I found out last time and 3 days later my mum got diagnosed with cancer so the whole of my pregnancy got overshadowed with taking care of her and helping her deal with it and the Chemo. I didnt go to any ante-natel classes as mum was in hospital so wanted to see her. I had a c-section with my dd as she was breech and also suffered bady with SPD so hoping not to have that again. xxxxx

Well I couldn't bear not to tell my mum but she's a retired nurse so she knows the score! And I've told one of my best friends who I work with just in case I need some support/cover at work or faint or something...been feeling pretty odd this week! I'd trust her with my life though and she knows it's v early days. Just felt more secure knowing there was someone keeping an eye on me.

Like you though, a couple of friends are also pregnant and I'm dying to share experiences but am going to try to hold off 'going public' for a few more weeks...it's so hard!!! There's one friend I'm not looking forward to sharing the news with though cos she's been trying for ages.

I can't believe how quickly it's happened, only really started trying in July.

I just found out yesterday we're pregnant with 3rd baby ! It wasn't planned, so trying to come to terms with it all at the moment. We already have a 7 yr old and a 3 yr old and feel as though I have my hands full already! Sure it'll be fine...!

This is my third pregnancy. I have 2DS 5 and 3 both within the first month of trying, so no shock that this one was fast! ( I know i am very lucky)

I tested couple of days early with a digital one and got my great result, but thought i was expecting as did have some little signs.

Congrats to us all, going to keep quiet for couple of weeks, other half still in shock! lol
