Last night when I went to bed, I had a slight crampy feeling, like that achey pain you get. Been fine all morning, but just started to get it again now. It is accompanied by lower back pain, but I started to get back pain about 5 days ago so don't think that's related. Does this mean that it may be the onset of an early labour or is it just normal when your baby moves down?

Those final days can be full of new aches and pains as the head engages, etc. I wouldn't worry, just rest as much as you can. Remember anything after 38 wks is considered normal term as the dating process is a slightly moveable feast. And, of course, good luck on the day!
