Hi Julez it is my 1st DC but I am pretty sure I have been having BH since 20W (tummy 'hardens' and feels like a bit like a cramp for 20 seconds or so).

I'd give your midwife a ring for reassurance though. Good luck!

Julezboo - I'm PG with #4, and have been having BH feelings since 15 weeks (am now 19 weeks)
I have been really worried as up until this weekend, I haven't felt many movements, but they've really started up now - much later than any of my others!

If you're worried, ring your MW, I'm sure they can have a quick listen for a heartbeat to reassure you.

Julezboo · 08/09/2010 11:28

I have a doppler Bella. MW has refused to listen to heartbeat until after 25 weeks !

I am sure everything is fine. Got another scan at the end of the month. I have had 7 mc's before and at high risk of early labour so braxton hicks this early is freaking me out a little...

Don't know if it's any help but I had my first BH at about 16 weeks, this is my first baby. Some people just feel them early.
