I am NOT ttc but have recently had a number of symptoms, all of which would lead me to believe I am pregnant.

a week ago I reluctantly took a test, mainly so I would know whether I was pregnant or incredibly ill. It was negative Confused

What would you think if you had these symptoms?

  1. INCREDIBLE tiredness. Totally drained. Could sleep all day, every day. Except work and toddler get in the way.
  1. Recurrent headaches
  1. Dizziness (not constant and not horrific, more disorientating)
  1. Some nausea and one bout of throwing up as soon as I got out of bed (not food related/no other good reason for it)
  1. Heartburn after eating.
  1. Coffee making me feel sick.
  1. Sudden tan after one day in the sun
  1. Acne on neck.
  1. Backache
  1. More desperate need to urinate (I work in a job where I cannot leave my seat for up to 3 hours at a time, so am used to having to wait with no consequnces, recently I cannot make it past 2 hours, no increased thirst/drinking)

  2. Bloating, ALL trousers tight.

IT seems suspicious doesnt it? I did have a few missed pills when on holiday 9 weeks ago, and had reckless sex during that time, but that would make me VERY pregnant wouldnt it? And yet still a negative test?

I don't know but I would get yourself along to the doctor asap. If the back pain or headaches are bad you should maybe phone nhs direct.

did you test to early? i was a negative, but a positive another week later....
failing that get to our drs and ask for blood tests xx

lisad123isgoingcrazy · 07/09/2010 20:36

i failed 9 tests with dd1 before getting a positive at nearly 3 months.
Test in the mornings and get yourself to GP

Besom back pain niggling, headaches at front of head and not constant nor enough to require more than one paracetamol.

oggybags not too early I wouldn't have thought. If I AM pregnant I would be 9 weeks now.

lisa Shock 3 months!! Shock I thought home pregnancy tests were virtually infalliable these days?!

OP, get yourself to the GP. Your symptoms coulde mean lots of different things so let them check you over to put your mind at rest.
