Hi there,

I'm due this Sat (39+3) and I'm beginning to wonder if things are getting going. Over the past few days I have had big period pains - sometimes continually, sometimes sporadically - but they tend to go eventually. I think I may have had a show - heavier clear mucus than usual the other night? Been having to go for a poo much more than usual (apols for tmi), and have felt faint and a bit wobbly the past two mornings (felt slightly nauseous yesterday). Don't think waters have broken, but had some leakage last night - as it was around the time I went to the toilet I presumed it was the delightful experience of wetting myself.

What do you lovely ladies think?

Egon x

Don't know, always been induced, but as I'm recovering from a lovely case of gastric flu and am only capable of lolling in front of the computer wrapped in blankets, I'll hang around and find out. FWIW last year I spent the day with my friend who said she was having period type pains quite regularly and her little girl was born 24 hours later. The one time my waters broke spontaneously I'd spent the previous couple of hours crying like a loon for no apparent reason, which I'm blaming on the hormones! Good luck!

Oh you poor love! Hope you're feeling better soon. Oo, that sounds interesting... I have been hormonal over the past couple of days and went particularly euphoric / teary / mental on Sun. Thanks!

Well actually don't tell anyone but, the excuse to loll about on the sofa under a blanket and MN all day is worth the muscle wrenching vomitiy bit! (I have three sons and should be at work today BTW, and I always feel too guilty to have a proper loll normally!)

I think euphoric / teary / mental sounds just the thing!
